Dust, in the end. In the end, we leave behind all concepts of self, they transcend. Beyond language. Beyond corporeal bodies. Beyond identities. Preempting death, we are able to shape...
Dust, in the end.
In the end, we leave behind all concepts of self, they transcend.
Beyond language. Beyond corporeal bodies. Beyond identities. Preempting death, we are able to shape ourselves in the digital realm as we choose. As the IRL and URL spaces continue to bleed into each other, these shapes cross paths, breed with each other, and create something new entirely. What we don’t want to take with us softly turns to dust.
There will always be tension. The death of old language gives way to new language. The death of old selves gives way to new selves. We’re just human after all.
