ARTCO also participated in the 8th edition of the Investec Cape Town Art Fair in February, which was a huge success. The increasing quality of this event from year to year has attracted art enthusiasts from across the globe to Cape Town – a city considered to be the most important art metropolis on the African continent.
Featuring two booths at the fair, ARTCO exhibited works by Marion Boehm, Justin Dingwall, Godfried Donkor, Maurice Mbikayi, Kufa Makwavarara, Adeolu Osibodu and Ransome Stanley. Particular attention was paid to the wall installation, Cosmic Letters – Registered, by El Loko, whose works were exhibited in a solo booth.
