Béliza Troupé was born in Guadeloupe in 1989 and has established herself as a visual artist. After studying art in Bordeaux, she returned to Guadeloupe to set up her studio and build a bridge between these cultural spaces. In her artistic practice, she explores the multi-layered identities and shared cultural heritage of the black diaspora - particularly in relation to nature and her precise studies of human biology. Her work has been shown in various exhibitions, residencies and art fairs in France, Africa and the Caribbean.
