Atusa Jafari

Atusa Jafari was born in Darmstadt in 1999 and died far too early in 2024.

Her oil paintings are inspired by the nature of people, especially young women from the artist's private environment. In her recent self-portraits, reality and fantasy become blurred. They are introspective, yet involve the viewer directly and allow them to become part of the scenery. After solo exhibitions in New York and various group exhibitions in Berlin, Jafari had shown in Miami, in art fairs in Miami, USA and Capetown, South Africa.
